This video is really cool!! They sang/played/did everything backwards and reversed it... so it appears to be moving forward.

Waterfalls

We just came back from a great camping trip in Lake Catherine State Park near Hot Springs, Arkansas. We hiked down to the waterfall and went canoeing on Lake Catherine. We tried to see the St. Patty's Day Parade but we didn't make it! Oh well, Nate and I tried the Oxygen Bar in downtown Hot Springs... very interesting. I had an awesome time!

1. Freakin' Geese!
2. Fajitas whilst camping are the best of all.
3. Oblongated.
4. Tamarinds are nature's fruit rollup... TASTY! (Watch out for the spider ones.)
5. Playgrounds are way more fun in the night.
6. Huge hydroelectric power plant in the backdrop of our camping trip wasn't SO bad... right?

We had leftover milk when we were packing up to leave... so, what better way to get rid of it...?

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

guinness guinnesshat

We are going have a FREAKIN' AWESOME St. Patrick's Day.

I want to know exactly how good of a negotiator Arthur Guinness was.... that was one smart guy! £45/year for a  9,000 year lease!??!?!?!

arthur

Excerpt from Wikipedia:
Arthur Guinness started brewing ales initially in Leixlip, then at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin, Ireland from 1759. He signed a 9,000 year lease at £45 per annum for the unused brewery. Ten years later in 1769 Guinness exported their product for the first time, when six and a half barrels were shipped to England.

Things have been truly crazy! They are finally calming down though. I finished my first web application project at work. I did a LOT of work on it and worked a ton of overtime. (Note: Salaried employees don't get "overtime") BUT, that's ok. I learned a ton and feel really good going forward. I think I can learn to do whatever they throw at me. I have taught myself ASP.NET 2.0 and C# and I love it! I love web programming.

Nate and I own the
www.EnkayDesign.com domain and will eventually do freelance rich web applications. I can't wait. Also, we are officially moving to Lewisville! We will be out of our current place by May 15th. He graduates on May 12th so we need to stick around Denton to party with family, etc after the ceremony. My Dad & Amy are flying from Michigan and have a hotel room here in town.

Our 19 year old cat Jasmine passed away a month or so ago. Shortly thereafter Rosie came on the scene. She was originally my family's cat until our dog prompted my parents to give her away. She was 5 when I saw her last and 5 years later... her owner can't have her anymore and asks to give her back. Very awesome.

Time to play my current obssession....  in my sleep!

oh and Halo 2. (Gamertag: HalcyonNK)
